(I LOVE U AND I LOVE MY JOB GUYS! :D)...
Anyway, as I was saying, we have our days... But today is not one of those days. Actually work and I have been getting along well lately despite my usual somber mode and random screaming facebook statuses of 'shinny, happy, fits of rage!' and the stressful endless stream of projects! But today held one of my favourite things about where I work, our 3rd Croquis (Live Model Drawing) Session!
This is proving to be more relaxing to me than an hour of yoga and more stress releasing than my evening runs around the Savannah. It's a great opportunity for me to practice drawing, have fun with sketches, be experimental with the quick 2 min sketches or linger intensely at the 15min drawings.
The classes are small and intimate with great chill music lightly in the background. Cheyenne, Kafra and Alicia are great with the 'mood lighting' and in all the atmosphere makes me quickly zone out and relax to myself with the model.
And if you want to share your work or not after it's entirely up to you.
Sometimes I do share my drawings but most times I pick up my pile of brown paper sketches, smile, say goodbye and head home.
Another long day at the studio is complete.
My eyes are tired from staring at the screen.
I wore heels today instead of my usual flats or flip flops so my feet are tired to, and now I'm relaxed, all I want is my bed! :)
