It’s still in it’s very early stages but I recently worked on one of the first presentations for a large regional brand.
The presentation had it’s ups and downs and two presentations in less than 7 days later-we came out with a fantastic win! And I am so happy and so proud of my little team!
I’m embracing the change and the new, along with my own personal growing pains. But it’s still about the core team for me.
Not the core original group of 12 or so but the tinier core I work with closely all the time while learning about and getting to know the new.
We worked our asses off and we did good!
It’s not an elitist thing or a clique thing.
It’s not a them and us thing cause if you love what you do or are bussing your ass trying to do the best at what you’re passionate about then you’re an ‘us’ to me.
I’m always really proud of my ‘tiny team’ I love working with them.
This week we also had a huge Dj at our monthlyish Sow&Tell event and as usual our hard working staff were bussing ass in the background for an insanely short deadline and they made magic (with it’s fair share of hick-ups) and pulled off a fantastic event!
The party was ram! It was hot and sweaty and DIPLO ROCKED!
As usual most of the team stood in the background, counting heads, drinking drinks, taking in the vibe, dancing and laughing.
Most did not actually meet Diplo with an intro but while the ‘Big Company’ did the ‘show’, we had our ‘little merger party’...
We make jokes about each other’s ‘Designer Egos’ (yes u Photo-takeouters, Production people and Strategist are included) but if you honestly look at us under lights, we’re the most quiet, we’re ‘the artsy-fartsy underdogs’ Working hard cause we just f*king like it!
We love the beautiful things,we love the laughs, we love the beautiful moments and we like to Make Things Good! - And then enjoy the drinks after...
I still quite like my Little Company..... Yea it’s still a little crew and I like em’, even when I’m bitchin about dem;)
